That thar rush for the gold finally be over! Had an idea of exactly what I might need to do to solve the final puzzle and practiced eyeballing the right spots last evening so that I knew exactly how to approach it this morning ... havin' two screens on this here computin' device so I's could look at one and type on t'other didn't hurt either. As usual, except for the varmints yesterdee, this here game was a hoot!

18 4/9/2006 5:27:23 AM Rattrak Roseville  Michigan
We have had a great time once again, very well done. We had gotten our 500th cache during the last coin quest and got to our 1000th cache during this coin quest. I love that these games and get us to areas that we may not have cached as of yet. So it is a great mix of caches for the requirements. I must admit I had hopes that we had to puzzle in each day because those are my favorite type of caches also. Thanks again for this quest!
19 4/9/2006 5:28:04 AM kablooey San Jose  CA
Woohoo! This was exciting and fun again! Thanks again for the challenge! Today will mark 999 consecutive days of finding a cache, too. Congrats also to Marky, maverick2026, Rattrak, Chwiliwr, and WilliamsFamGC who woke up with me at 4am every morning (or whatever their local times are).
20 4/9/2006 5:28:13 AM Lightpeople Farmington Hills  MI
For the past 16 days we have toyed with the top 25. Then a couple of days ago a few drop down. Then the top 25 toyed with us. We had been working the puzzle but to no avail. We figured we would get a good night's sleep and attack it fresh in the morning. As our time counted down, our hands began to shake. Then focus and BANG, we finished. Thanks to everyone who along the way lent us a hand. This was a great game and a great sport. Can't wait for the next one.

22 4/9/2006 5:30:55 AM WilliamsFamGC Fishers  IN
Fun game! From the start, I'd been hanging just out of reach of the top 25...hoping against hope that some of them ('specially them Californians!) would not have the stamina to get up early every day for 16 days...and being disappointed nearly every day! :-) Excellent job on the game. Congrats to all finishers. Looking forward to the next one!
23 4/9/2006 5:32:20 AM Marky San Jose  CA

59 4/9/2006 6:50:48 AM Brian - Team A.I. Billings  MT
Ye olde Montana cacher mining for gold finally struck a vein. Whether it was fools gold or the real thing depends on a roll of the Hermit's dice now.
60 4/9/2006 6:51:08 AM chilehead Fairport  NY fun fun! What to do, what to do? Palm Sunday. Service at 9am. Can't enter my last log until 8:50am. Darn! Left home a little early so I'd be in the parking lot by 8:50am and was able to enter my last cache via my Treo. I was hoping I could solve the puzzle quickly once I got the last piece, and wala! Got it! And I got to church on time.

68 4/9/2006 7:25:24 AM lawntonlookers Harrisburg  PA Sunday, April 9, 2006, The Lawntonlookers loaded the family wagon on March 25 for a very tedious journey for the Hermits Quest. The weather was excellent and allowed us to find 14 new caches in the midst of the wildest and most beautiful scenery around. Not counten the miles wee traveled in the wagon, wee traveled a Bout 18 miles on foot. Wana thank the Cache-u-nuts an all others for putin on this here Quest and fun. Lokin forward to tha next chalange.

70 4/9/2006 7:31:42 AM Loch Cache Woburn  MA Yee Haw! Got ya, ya little rascal! I bin track'n ya for a fortnight plus and I finally got ya! Good game. I went out this morning to do a really good final cache for the Fowl requirement. Cache, Interrupted. Had a blast trying to keep my login time ahead of a friend. Of course that friend helped me keep on it. (ThxBR) Although one morning I was at the computer 20 minutes early and started working and forgot to log for 45 minutes. Oops. Again, Thanks for the game. Loch Cache
71 4/9/2006 7:34:26 AM MissLatitude Amherst  OH What a great time this was! I had a blast and managed to snag some caches that I had been wanting to grab. Of course the fun was in spending time with family and friends caching and laughing. Sometimes we did more laughing than caching. Thankfully I wasn't LAST to finish this quest. Looking forward to the next one!!!

75 4/9/2006 7:52:53 AM Robertsons3 Harrisburg  PA Another great game. Thanks for getting my caching engine restarted.
76 4/9/2006 8:02:29 AM G&G&PTTH Bothell  WA Great quest - we had a great time on this . Pete finally solved it for us
77 4/9/2006 8:04:28 AM Bigrock95 Arlington  MA I really enjoyed the game. It encourages caching in different venues. It was especially a challenge for me as I was limiting myself to doing multi-caches, (except for the revisits), so that I could work towards my 1000 milestone goal of 200 multis, 100 unknowns and 700 spread amongst the other types. Happy to come 2nd in MA when I was competing with Mr. Dulicitous, himself. Congrats L.C.
78 4/9/2006 8:06:28 AM LadyBee4T Farmington Hills  Mi
An absolutely great game and I had a blast right down to the end. Thank you Desert Hermit for all of your hard work letting us find your gold. This game took us to many caches we might not have found otherwise. Can't wait until the next adventure!!
79 4/9/2006 8:07:53 AM jagman714 Westland  Mi. What a Great Game! Thanks for the fun!
80 4/9/2006 8:09:37 AM LordYatchman Canton  mi This quest game really gives me motivation to get out in the world to cache and my reward is the scenic areas they take me to like the Toledo area where we found some nice river caches. I've found so many places I want to return to in my own back yard I never knew about. Places to just view or take my bicycle or motorcycle rides to. This is what these games help to inspire in me. Thanks for all your hard work--it is much appreciated. Tom
81 4/9/2006 8:16:37 AM AtlantaGal Marietta  GA This was fun. I enjoyed it. Definitely not as stressful as the last one, thankfully. And I managed to not lose any sleep during this quest either. That's always a bonus *grin*. Thanks Cache-U-Nuts et al for another great Quest!
82 4/9/2006 8:23:26 AM Lajoie 5 Arlington  WA Yahhh whooo! Finished in the top 100, which was my goal. This here challenge made us round up the wagons and head west more than once in search of them there requirements! Thanks Pardner!
83 4/9/2006 8:33:33 AM red bud Rochester  NH Our goal was to finish in or close to the position we've held throughout most of the game. We started in 103, yesterday in 82nd place. We did it! It took a while to figure out at the end, but we played honest and really enjoyed the game! Thanks!
84 4/9/2006 8:41:43 AM gordy&sassy Marysville  WA Holy Smokes!! I never even imagined I'd get the quest completed much less figure out the Hermit's sneaky code. Thanks for the fun!!
85 4/9/2006 8:49:50 AM The_Simpsons West Jordan  Utah Love these puzzle games! This one got us doing some caches that we probably wouldn’t have done until drier weather. Thanks for another great game and all the fun! Looking forward to the next one!
86 4/9/2006 9:02:18 AM Tinfoil-Hat Head & Wall-Eyed Nutbag Fallbrook  CA We absolutely LOVE this game! The requirements always take us to the best places/caches. Thanks for all the fun! Yippee!
87 4/9/2006 9:03:56 AM angelgirls17 Woods Cross  UT
I love this game! It has taken me to caches that I wouldn't have gone to, and it gives a focus rather than just finding caches near home or when I'm going somewhere. It also had me out in the rain, which gave another interesting aspect to finding some of these great caches. Thanks to everyone who helped put the game together! See you on the gold trail.
88 4/9/2006 9:10:37 AM HaleGang Greece  New York Great Quest! I thought about skipping this one, but once I started, I couldn't stop.
89 4/9/2006 9:36:31 AM Kryptonite Alamo  CA Whew, that was a blast! Thanks
90 4/9/2006 9:52:20 AM BHMP Seattle  WA The obsession is over, until the next game. Thanks again. We reached our personal goal!

92 4/9/2006 10:08:04 AM Russ and Dana Kansas City  Missouri We have enjoyed both Quests – it’s caching with a purpose. The Hermits Quest took us to four different states, and we had fun with each and every cache completed for this quest. Thanks for making caching more fun!
93 4/9/2006 10:29:21 AM tx_secsy Katy  TX This was my first time to play and it was really fun! Thanks SOOOOOOOOO much for your hard work!
94 4/9/2006 10:39:32 AM Wolverine Warriors Coldwater  Michigan Thank-you, as always, for such a wonderful game. It was much easier doing these caches toting along a 2 month old, then doing them 9 months pregnant ;) Although I thought there was going to be a puzzle to log every cache...that might have made the leader board a little bit different. And it's a shame that so many people turned into "filthy varmits" over this. I hope it doesn't stop you from making another coin quest.
95 4/9/2006 10:50:49 AM RAS&CO white lake  michigan I had fun doing this game. Some of the caches I choose were a little tough at times. But it got me out to do some different caches. Posting time was critical. RAS&CO
96 4/9/2006 11:02:02 AM ALCLGL San Jose  CA We had a great time playing this game! It was really fun to look for the required caches, thanks so much for putting it together, I can't wait until the next q
97 4/9/2006 11:02:22 AM suzyjazz Westlake  OH This was totally awesome to finish the quest! It was great taking the adventures! Looking forward to the next quest! Great job everyone!
98 4/9/2006 11:15:08 AM beanichick Vernon  B.C.
Thanks for another epic quest! :P Hard to do when travelling which makes it all the more fulfilling.
99 4/9/2006 11:18:19 AM Not So Lost Puppies Mt Horeb  WI Thanks for another great game!
100 4/9/2006 11:19:52 AM Team Kryptos Omaha  NE Wow! finally finished. Thanks for the fun game! Man I killed myself on the final puzzle. Thanks the The Caching Place and the Hermit for a fantastic time. Found great new caches and met some new cachers. What an experience. Can't wait for the next one.
