I liked this cache a lot! As it was located an old cemetery in the middle of a cow pasture. You needed to climb stairs built over the fence to get to the cemetery. Did this on a marathon cache day where we got 64 caches! 11/12/05

Our coin quest continues. Me crew was no where to be found (there mother spoutin off something about school), so I be gatherin clues by me lonesome today. Found this clue, right under the place where no man sails, a downright frightnin graveyard. Knowin there be the bones of past sailors just yonder gave me the shivers. Makes a man stop and think about his life, and what he should be doing- searchin fer that treasure!
Found the stash, made me mark, and sailed on. Arrrgh, thanks for the fun.

This is a graveyard near the roman catholic church in Mainz Hechtsheim (Germany). The cache itself is located right next to the wall of the graveyard. I was glad about not having to go through the craveyard. I always get scared in these places ;-)

Me blasted first mate, Peg leg Joe, be a mutinous one!! As we travels by foot (or peg, be it as it be), I finds meself encircled by the ghosts of tha Dead, and I knows they be summoned by that Peg legged scallywag, ta try ta end me plunderin’ ways, and keep the treasure fer his self. Lucky I be that spirits of land lubbers like these has no power ‘gainst a buccaneer wit’ saltwater surgin’ thru his veins. I grabs Joe by the throat, fixin’ to squeeze tha breath right outta his tremblin’, traitorous frame. Then I spies ‘round ‘is neck a medallion of sorts, bearin’ the markin “TB” and some numbers. Me thinks these numbers be a type of a code. I knows not what means this “TB” but me thinks it be meanin’ “Traitorous BilgeRat.” As I squeezes his neck he blubbers somethin’ bout a clue and some pirates called APEs. I knows not of these APEs, but I be seekin’ them now, in search of a clue. That Peg legged scum be alive for now, but when me finds the clue that these APEs be holdin', then me thinks he be walkin the plank. So be the fate of a wretched mutineer!

Cache located in the historic Centerville Cemetary.
From the cache description: This is one of a number of these rest stops around Butte County dating back to the 1850s. There was a ghost story I once heard about this place... unfortunately didn't hold on to the information. But it had to do with a wandering woman in a long dress and "orbs", seen ocassionally in this area. Don't recommend trying for this at night... it's pretty spooky around here.
