It is just southeast of Port Jervis, New York. High Point is the highest peak of the Kittatinny Mountains. At the peak is the High Point Monument, a 220-foot (67 m) tower, built in 1930 to commemorate the war dead. Three different states can be seen from the top: New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. This is a photo of my brother and I with the monument behind us: http://img.geocaching.com/cache/log/e516b9a3-6a97-4632-a3d2-95255d855eca.jpg
