4/9/2006 11:34:33 AM We're Here GCV1JZ Found 4/6/06. [This was an after work find in the rain. The gate was up so I just pulled in the parking lot and began my search. The multi level glass building was my second job site as an Apprentice Ironworker out of high school. I tightened many a bolt and spread my share of metal decking that supports the floors within the building. Watch your step!]V'z whfg xvqqvat - ab jbeevrf.
4/8/2006 11:33:01 AM DLP GCRQ4C This was my second after work find in the rain. The area is a bit soggy but manageable. Were I won't be flying anywhere very soon I though that this location would be a nice spot for the Gecko TB who likes to fly. There are a lot of waterfowl that fly in and out of this area and being a bit closer to the airport hopefully someone could pick it up for a plane ride. Moved bug on 4/6/06
4/7/2006 11:32:17 AM re's George in Utah? GCA7D2 Revisited 4/6/06. This afternoon during lunch I put on the rain gear and the knee waders to go see how this cache looked after floating in the rising water. Bushwhacking into this one was no problem, my first trip here I definitely took the difficult way in. I was really surprised as the ammo box has done its job well as everything is nice and dry.
4/6/2006 11:32:24 AM Have You Lost Your Marbles? GC475E Found 3/30/06. It was a little more than a half mile down the Jordan River Parkway to get to this one. I have been learning a software package were you can overlay your GPS track on Aerial photos and upload the file. Total walking for the day was 2 miles with finding other caches in the area and the return trip.
4/5/2006 11:32:36 AM Concealment #2 GCT96X I have ugraded this cache (4/4/06) by replacing the tube with an ammo box and loaded it with new trade items to make the difficult trip more rewarding.
4/4/2006 11:32:30 AM soda pop Cache GCV02C Found 3/27/06. This one is close by my office so getting this during lunch was no problem. I wonder if the nearby bottling company provides free samples I sure could have used an ice cold Root Beer.
4/3/2006 11:32:50 AM Button, Button, Trade Me a Button GCJNVQ Found this one during the twilight hours - around 8:45pm 3/31/06. It was a nice night out but due to the cloud cover a view of the sky and the stars was not possible. I didn't have any buttons to trade but I made sure to sign the log and cover back up the cache well before moving on.
4/2/2006 11:32:57 AM Sparky and the Shoot'em up Gang GCQZPN The traffic sure goes speeding by this cache on Highway 201 West. Not much seperating the access road from the highway except the fence. There was no shoot'n going on late this evening but there must have been some type of meeting as the parking lot was full.
4/1/2006 11:32:37 AM Farmlife GCNGT3 Found 3/31/06. Took the nice peaceful drive down the country road to find this cache today. I got a great picture of a moth which landed by the cache while I was signing the log as well as some farmlife that I will upload.
3/31/2006 11:32:47 AM On Willow Pond GCRABG Found this on my way home from work3/29/06. It was unbelievable how many fisherman were her at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. They sure didn't stay long when it started to rain. Accept for a few die hards like the one in the picture, who showed up even after I retreated for cover. With all the rain we have recieved lately the cache hasn't faired very well as when I opened it I had to pour out the water to get to the log which was floating inside. My attempt to sign the log resembles chicken scratches.
3/30/2006 11:32:22 AM South Jordan Memorial Park GCRACF Found 3/28/06. Solved this puzzle cache this afternoon just as it was starting to rain again. Several years ago I was looking at renting one of the houses that is across the street from this cache. Its always interesting were caching can take you.
3/29/2006 11:27:19 AM Bridge On the River Jordan GCREP2 Found 3/27/06. I have passed over this bridge several times on my way to other caches on the parkway. Each time I would look with no success. It was the new hint that kept me straight this time and the fact that the high water wouldn't let me search were I have before that allowed me to find it. A great container as always.
3/28/2006 11:27:54 AM Urban Wetlands GCJ3XW Found 3/25/06. A nice hide and the 2 year old really enjoyed the ducks and geese that are all over this waterfowl preserve. The warm spring temperature was nice but the wind sure was a blow'n.
3/27/2006 11:27:14 AM WVC River Canal became a Pond.. becomes a River? GCRECC Found on 3/25/06. It was one of the warmest days yet this year and it was nice to take a stroll around the Decker Lake trail but the wind was sure a blow'n. When I found this one I stayed for a while watching a RC Motor Boat out on the water. Uploaded track around this body of water to view.
3/26/2006 11:26:43 AM LTAN, STAAC #2: Long May She GCR1DH
Found this one for the DH on 3/25/06. I picked up the container once and checked the inside but wasn't very through. I didn't figure it out until about 10 minutes later when I had come back after ckecking surrounding objects and found the log. I arrived before the new log was replace and had a difficult time signing the wet one.
