4/9/2006 9:02:18 AM Final Comments GC We absolutely LOVE this game! The requirements always take us to the best places/caches. Thanks for all the fun! Yippee!
4/9/2006 9:02:17 AM Code Phrase Entered Correctly GC0 Tinfoil-Hat Head & Wall-Eyed Nutbag has correctly entered the code phrase on 4/9/2006 9:02:17 AM!
4/9/2006 8:58:08 AM The Best Part of Waking Up Part 2 GCPGEG We weren't too thrilled about this requirement having just come within inches of stepping on a rattlesnake on a well-marked trail at The Devil Went Down to Murrieta cache. Glad we didn't have to buschwhack too very far to this one for that reason; we were chicken! Certainly enough bushwhacking to meet the requirement and definitely not a cache you want to hike to in shorts. We also didn't want to re-visit Heavenly Harrison (GCJQZJ), as that was the worst bushwhacking we ever encountered. Basically it was bushwhacking the entire hike up the mountain, and we will not return to that cache until a tram to the top is installed!
4/8/2006 8:58:07 AM Stop and Look at 3700 GCV1CC Great place to stop and watch the stars come out. This cache is located on Palomar Mountain not to far from the Palomar Observatory. Now that's stargazing for ya!
4/7/2006 8:58:08 AM Palomar Artesian Springs GCPV6E Filled up some of our water bottles with delicious Palomar Artesian spring water AND found a cache. Sweet!
4/6/2006 8:58:09 AM QUACKS & CROAKS GCJJ9C We've been meaning to do this cache forever, but it took the Hermit Game to finally get us there. It turned out to be one of our favorite caching experiences ever!
4/5/2006 8:58:08 AM Lights Out Again GCNW89 Moos and more moos and baby moos toos! Maybe we shouldn't mention all the moos' poos... LOL!
4/4/2006 8:58:07 AM MEADOW WALK GCG681 We really enjoyed the over half-mile hike out to this one. Very beautiful scenery, huge oaks, lots of cows, and fun caches along the way, plus we needed the exercise! :) We left a Bikedog Geocoin in the cache for the next cacher. Cache on!

3/31/2006 8:42:09 AM The Old Swimming Hole GCQQ3N The cache page states: "The Old Swimming Hole might also be called Temecula's "Other" Duck Pond. A trip here in the early morning hours will reveal a variety of birds, including ducks and owls." We saw lots of mud hens, red-winged blackbirds, and mallards. We also came within 10 feet of a Snowy Egret. Beautiful! In short, this cache was FOWL! LOL! :)
3/30/2006 8:42:08 AM I Saw The Sign 2 GCRYD0
3/29/2006 8:42:10 AM The devil went down to Murrietta GCPNKW On the way to this cache, I, Tinfoil, just about STEPPED on the Devil in the form of a BIG FAT RATTLESNAKE. I came within inches of this angry, twisting, rattling beast. I jumped a mile; it jumped a mile! After our encounter, we continued hiking to the cache only to run into two more rattlesnakes curled in the rocks near GZ! What we won't do for a cache...and the Hermit Game! LOL!
3/28/2006 8:42:10 AM Joshua Hills Travel Bug Outpost & Field Hospital GCNHBD Unique idea for a cache that also happens to fulfill a requirement.
3/27/2006 8:42:12 AM Welcome to Sky Valley Too GCMZVN We love the kind of camo that is in plain view, but no muggle will ever notice!
3/26/2006 8:42:29 AM HONORING OFFICERS HAUGEN & LEHMANN GCTQXH Right near the I-10 and a railroad. Can't beat that!
3/25/2006 8:41:47 AM Cornerstone4's I-15 Travel Bug Hotel GCP8FJ Fine TB Hotel we revisited. WooHoo! We're off and running.
