Found this cache by a sign for an environmental project. This project was to help prevent streambed erosion and provides cover for wildlife. Heard lots of birds while retrieving but didn't see any turkey today.

Could even see the big lake from the cache site. So happy a cacher placed this series recently so I could have lots to choose from. Great introduction to this large park area as well!

Was headed for the puzzle cache and decided to detour when this popped up. Much to my delight is is a bridge. It was the last covered bridge in Franklin County and is now closed to traffic.

We don’t have much in the way of big impressive geological formations like out west, but this cache is at the base of a large “butte” that allows you do see for literally miles in every direction. Legend has it that a woman escaped from the Indians in this area and lived on the butte until rescued.

This is the old penitentiary where Brubaker was filmed. It has been closed for years, but the impressive (but broken) gate certainly fits the bill for a "Devil's Gate"!

Found this micro in a cemetary right next to a beautiful little farm with lots of cows. Couldn't see any bee hives, but who knows...
