Geocoin coming?

The fourth in our series of gps adventure games. This one takes place in the canyon country around Moab Utah when a gang of outlaws steals a trailer loaded with gps receivers and other gadgets geocachers love. You will need to track down these 16 outlaws and recover the loot.

Now I feel like I’ve missed a lot :? :? and over 100 people have finished in that time. Is there a limit to how many finishers’ coins are made :?: I guess that if it has its own icon there will be at least 250 made. Cheers lizaburt

When I ordered mine earlier today they said that they have 300 available but depending on the popularity they may mint more of the player's version with the stand. The regular version are limited to 250 and won't be reminted.

We've backed way off on purchasing geocoins lately, but sure are glad we bought these. We grew tired of the bloby painted geocoins produced in the last year or so. We will display these in our special geocoin case. We know that many of our geocaching friends will want to discover this one!

We are glad that we helped recover the loot from the Modern Day Outlaws or we might never have been able to get these geocoins!!

I"m still out there racing ... but definitely want to get one of those coins when I'm thru. They look really awesome. Took me a whle to get all my research complete to figure out where these guys were hiding and what kinds of vehicles were best (I know more about Utah now than I think I know about my own state of Pennsylvania!). However, now that my research is done, I should be able to finish soon ... sometime next week probably.

I really like this start/stop the clock facet (and so does my family) since I can race as time permits without sacrificing sleep or doing other crazy feats.

I got my coin yesterday and it's great! What a fun way to remember this latest adventure. When I read "glow in the dark", I just had to jump into the nearest closet to check it out. Too much!

Thanks again and can't wait till the next one...

Funny you should mention that. I actually didn't notice the glow in the dark part till one night I got up and found my cat on my desk where the coin/base is sitting spinning the coin. Guess she though it was another lightning bug to play with  And yes, they are awesome coins, out of the 80+ coins I have, these two are the only two that go with me when I do my hunts now.........

I received my finishers coin with stand today. The coin and stand look great, but did anybody else have a problem with the name plate not fitting in it's designated space? Mine is just a bit too large.

My coins arrived today.

My name plate was a tiny bit large on the left side and the right side fits in with a little bit of room around it. It looked as though it would have fit perfect if the engraving was on the other side of the plate. But I was able to squeeze it in to place.

On the coin and stand itself, at first the holder didn't fit firmly and the wing nut (is that what it's called?) wouldn't tighten up all the way, so it was all wombly. But we added a different kind of nut under the wingnut that tightened everything up perfectly.

So it all worked out and it looks great. Yay!

Finishers coin

Postby fossillady on Tue Jul 10, 2007 10:47 am

I am working on my 11th outlaw but may not finish by Friday. My question is will I still get a finishers coin if I finish after July 13th or only if I finish by then?
