If we have registered and played some of the other Quests, then we are all set to start this Quest?
Yes that is correct. If you clicked the remember me option when you were playing the other games then you will already be logged in and you can just click Start Your Game and be on your way. If you didn't click remember me then you will just need to log in and be on your way. (Hope you remember your password. If not then email us and we'll send it to your registered email address.)
I'm worried about the codes and puzzles....I hate puzzle caches and can never figure them out...is this going to be fun or just frustration for me...HELP!!
Let us put your minds at ease - we have not made this game a 5-star experience - Some of the puzzles may be harder to solve than others, but most of the decoding is very basic, just like in the other games. It should be a fun game for all! To be honest, some of the more experienced puzzle code cracking folks will be a bit bored.....well, to begin with, that is.
If you're having trouble, there are always helpful players in the Game Forums that will give out helpful advice!!
Are there Fast Forwards in this game?
The answer to that question is a great big YES. In fact, every stage of the game has a fast forward. As you begin your journey in each region you will be given an enciphered message telling how to complete that stage. The Keyword to decipher the message will be given to you after one, two or three hours. If you can solve the message without the keyword then you have gotten yourself a fast forward. For the first three regions the keyword will be given after one hour. For regions four, five and six the keyword will be given after two hours and for the last three regions the keyword will be given after three hours.
Will I need to buy a Pocket Decoder coin to play the game?
No, you can play the game without the actual coins. We have provided links to pdf files on our website where there are paper copies of the coins that can be printed out with assembly instructions, there are also examples of how to use the coins to decipher or encipher messages. Remember, these coins can be used for placing all kinds of puzzle caches in your own areas and are meant to be a fun and functional coin.

How is this game different from previous Quests?
The biggest change is that there are no geocaching requirements. This entire game is just solving nine enciphered messages to travel through different regions in pursuit of the Evil Wizard who has stolen The Golden Pocker Decoder. The inhabitants of the different regions have different ways of creating their messages and we give you a book that details the different methods. For those interested there is a tenth puzzle to be solved for which no information has been given.
There is one similarity to the Modern Day Outlaw game. Your game clock will start when you enter into a region and will stop when you click on the correct spot to complete it. You then have a choice to start your next region immediately of wait until a more convenient time to continue your quest.
When will the game end?
This game like all of our games will continue indefinitey, to allow folks to play at their leisure.
