Deciphering a Simple Code Using The Poker Wheel This example uses a single card for the keyword. This is similar to a simple Caesar Cipher. For this example the keyword is the Jack of Clubs. Here is your enciphered message:     First step is to align the Jack of Clubs with the letter A on the outer wheel. Now find each of the cards in the ciphertext and see what letter it lines up with on the outer wheel. Find the Ace of Spades on the poker wheel and see that it lines up with the letter P on the outer wheel. The 10 of spades lines up with the letter O. The red joker lines up with the letter K and so forth. Since this is a code where the same card is always equal to the same letter, it will be easy for clever people to "crack" this code. The beauty of the poker wheel is that you can use it to make all the different kinds of "Vigenere Ciphers" plus you can use it to play "Wheel Poker".
